सूरत दर्पण की शुरुआत वर्ष 2005 में गुजरात के पहले सांध्यकालीन हिंदी दैनिक के रूप में रघुकुल मार्केट, सूरत से हुई थी। यह समाचार पत्र तीन भागीदारों के सहयोग से प्रारंभ हुआ और अपनी रोचक प्रस्तुति और विश्वसनीय पत्रकारिता के चलते शीघ्र ही लोकप्रियता की ऊँचाइयों पर पहुँच गया। हालांकि, आंतरिक समन्वय की कमी के कारण यह प्रकाशन तीन वर्षों बाद बंद करना पड़ा।
वर्ष 2011 में इस अखबार ने एक बार फिर नवजीवन पाया, जब इसे यजुवेंद्र दुबे ने एक मॉर्निंग डेली के रूप में अकेले पुनः आरंभ किया। यह संस्करण और भी अधिक लोकप्रिय हुआ और शीघ्र ही गुजरात में रहने वाले उत्तर भारत के प्रवासी समुदाय का प्रमुख समाचार पत्र बन गया।
सूरत, गुजरात, उत्तर प्रदेश, बिहार, झारखंड, राजस्थान समेत भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों और विदेशों की महत्वपूर्ण खबरें पाठकों तक पहुँचाना इसका मुख्य उद्देश्य रहा है।
यह वेब पोर्टल भी समय के साथ बहुत प्रभावी बन गया, लेकिन तकनीकी कारणों से एक बार पूरी वेबसाइट का डेटा डिलीट हो जाने के कारण, इसे नए रूप और उद्देश्य के साथ पुनः लॉन्च किया गया है। आज यह पोर्टल 123, रूंगटा सिग्नेचर, वेसु रोड, सूरत स्थित कार्यालय से अपडेट किया जाता है।

About Us
Surat Darpan began its journey in 2005 as the first Hindi evening daily of Gujarat, published from Raghukul Market, Surat. Launched with the collaboration of three partners, the newspaper quickly gained popularity due to its engaging presentation and responsible journalism. However, due to lack of coordination among partners, it ceased publication after three years.
In 2011, Mr. Yajuvendra Dubey independently revived the newspaper as a morning daily, which once again received wide appreciation and became a leading newspaper for the migrant Hindi-speaking population residing in Gujarat.
Over the years, Surat Darpan has worked diligently to bring important news from Surat, Gujarat, as well as states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Rajasthan, and other parts of India and the world to its readers.
Our digital portal also garnered strong readership; however, due to technical issues, all previous data of the website was lost. This led to the birth of a new and improved version of the portal, which is now updated from our office located at:
